THE IMPORTANCE OF CHOOSING A QUALIFIED HYDROTHERAPIST

Over the last three years I have gained the following qualifications:

Canine First Aid

Therapy Centre Legal and Safety Requirements

ABC:

Pool Water Management

Introduction to Hydrotherapy

Practical Physiotherapy for Hydrotherapy

First Aid Refresher

Distance learning: Canine Cruciate and Patella Ligament Disease

Distance learning: Canine Elbow & Hip Dysplasia

As a hydrotherapist working in conjunction with members of the veterinary profession I passionately believe that it is my responsibility to continue my own professional development. To this end I am in the process of completing my coursework for the new 'Certificate in Small Animal Hydrotherapy.' I will update the website with information on any new courses as and when I attend them. It is important to mention that governing bodies in canine hydrotherapy strongly advise veterinary practices only refer to hydrotherapists who have undertaken relevant training due to the often serious and complicated health issues of referred cases.
